CUSTOM DESIGN - A VERY PERSONAL STORY

For years I had a desire to own a ring that would be masculine, extraordinary, mind-blowing and has a good amount of “bling” to it. I was not able to find anything that the stores were selling that filled this description. I knew of Vandenberg’s Fine Jewellery because they had done some work for my wife on redesigning a dinner ring that she no longer wanted to wear and turned it into a stunning wedding band for her. You cannot buy my ring at Vandenberg’s Fine Jewellery because it was designed by Peter and myself with passion in order to fulfill my dream. I met with Peter to come up with a design concept of what the ring would look like.

I had an idea of what I wanted, but Peter had the vision. He listened to my ideas and came up with what he thought I would be happy with.

On the computer screen, it met all of my needs. He then had a purple wax mold made of what the ring would look like but I still was having difficulty in actually visualizing it. Peter assured me that it would be meeting all of my expectations. Time went by and the day came when I would see the final product. I remember sitting at the counter with my wife waiting with great anticipation. Peter brought out the ring which was in a box. He opened the box but I still wasn’t seeing the ring. My wife saw it and made a comment that led me to believe that she liked it. When he turned the box towards me, I actually remember that I stopped breathing. It was so breathtaking when I saw it, that I could not say a word. I was speechless and awestruck with the final result.

To this day, this ring gives me the same feeling that I had on the first day that I saw it. If you have a dream for a piece of fine jewellery, I know that Peter and Esther will make that dream come true for you as they did for me.
